Not Good For Construction

Austin has had  a LOT of rain this week from Hurricane Alex.  One story said 8 to 12 inches.  I love it! 
But there are projects in the lots on both sides of ours that are suffering because of it.

New home construction on one side.

And on the other side, a swimming pool, filled with rainwater.

It's a muddy mess out there!

If I haven't hung out on the beach,

it won't qualify as a good summer.  We had a great time in Galveston for Mr. B's 30th High School Reunion.

A Patient Man

Someone I love has wanted a Jeep since he was a child playing with his GI Joe.

 Well now he has one!  I think he's happy.  Sometimes it's hard to tell.
