A Shady Home

Our new home is being built among a bunch of old oak trees.

My Grandma June had a shady house and I have always wanted one too.

I'm really excited to have a big yard with mature trees.I think Mr. B is looking to a higher power to give him the strength needed for adequate yard maintenance.

Nac-O-Nowhere

We loaded up the Subaru and headed to Nacogdoches, home of Stephen F. Austin State University for Freshman Orientation.

Our faithful chauffeur got us there safe and sound.

We all ended up with cool purple t-shirts (purple!)

Under the Rainbow

The first rain in weeks fell as we drove to Austin yesterday.

It was a great break from the Texas summer heat.

I took this rainbow as a good omen for the day.
We'll see if it was.
P.S. It was!!! :)

It's Independence Day

Time for patriotic symbols.

I think it was time for the Colbert Report.
Time for a laser show from the parking garage and a Pink Floyd tribute band. Memorable!

Lima Bean in the Sky!

Nope, it's a bad picture of a waxing gibbous moon. What can I say? I am a horrible photographer.

Roasting in Round Rock at the Dell Diamond Oven

Seeing the Round Rock Express and friends from RES was fun!

It's always good to see an Art Cow too.

It was hot, but nothing a cold beverage couldn't take care of.
Thanks for inviting us Chiqui!
