I love to cook and bake. Except when I don't.
But lately I have been in the mood to cook for la familia. It's been fun! I was pondering this idea for maybe a week or two before I got around to it. It's just bread dough with a peach, almond and cream cheese filling. I thought it looked pretty, so I'm showing off by posting it.

The Houston Astrozzzzzzz
Yesterday the Houston Astros played against the Chicago Cubs. We were given some great tickets. Exciting! Or not.Fourteen innings with only 3 runs just wasn't that interesting.
We had fun anyway.
with family,
even with a stranger from Chicago.
Plus there was the food.
Laughing at the baseball players was fun too. This one has an amusing name.

Her Majesty, The Poodle
Poor Trixie, she spent Tuesday at the groomer's and Wednesday at Banfield the dreadful vet clinic. She maintained her dignity through it all though. Here she is, looking beautiful as usual.
Awww she's the best little friend, (except when a stranger tries to pet her - then she's an embarrassment to the family!).
